"My 2 year experience of therapy with Ms. Lagrue has been one of diving deep into my childhood trauma, and emerging into a place of healing & understanding . I am beyond grateful to have found a therapist with whom I feel safe to share my experiences, and who provided thoughtful insight and encouragement. The path to finding a therapist with whom you feel a “good fit” is important. I am grateful to Ms Lagrue for her dedication to the triad of Mind Body Soul exploration & healing."
"I’m doing this because I care about the profession and counseling. As someone who wants to be a counselor one day and has been in counseling for 15 years I want to do what I can. I had a session the day I’m typing this after not hearing from the therapist I texted her asking where she was. She responded that she forgot to send me the link (I thought it was a phone consult and am stressed trying to find a therapist so not going to lie I was frustrated when she said she needed to reschedule since she forgot the link not mad just frustrated. I expressed how I felt by stating “mistakes happen but this was a big one for me.” She apologized (in all sincerity Nice). So far we’re good. Then I asked for other times to make up this appointment. For some reason this set her off and she said we would not be a good fit. I was and still am very confused to say the least. I never got belligerent and had dropped the conversation of her not sending the link. It was a very harsh response in my opinion for asking for appointment times. She didn’t even let me have a session before determining I was a good fit. I’ve tried a lot of therapists over the last 15 years and have never seen anything like this. Who ever is reading this you deserve better and there is better out there. Hopefully by the time your reading this I will have found it"
