"Low key tavern with basic but good food selection and nice beer list. Our group had a few sandwiches which were simple but really filling and tasty. We used our tokens from New Glarus to enjoy a beer. Service was fast and friendly."

"I am so glad that we ended up visiting. Apparently we were in town during polka fest time, so we ran into some interesting people and I honestly wish that we would’ve stayed longer. When we went there was a Bloody Mary bar, and we ordered a pretzel. It was soft and chewy and perfect. I also got to talk to the bartender about the artwork on the walls of the tavern and it was a cool story about an artist getting free lodging as long as he painted."

"I was immediately drawn to this place because of the historic look of the outside. I was originally a little nervous of the small menu, but sometimes the best places know exactly what makes them good and they don’t need a huge menu. The menu is classic to the town and they do it well. I got the brat, yet simple, it was delicious and packed with flavor. The inside is full on in the past and that makes it so interesting to look at and completes the experience. The prices are even better and the full bar menu is great as well. Very happy I chose to come here."
