"In the 7 years we were a patient there, we saw increasing disrespect. The staff have become more confrontational and less concerned with respecting my child as a full person, After effectively withholding care until I agreed to the (short lived and ineffective) medication routine they forced us to try, despite letters from other providers cautioning this choice. In other, more recent events, the staff have reported false information to my childs medical chart in an effort to prevent access to other providers. This place will force you to jump through whatever hoops they want that day because they know you have few options for care. Our children/families deserve help, not hostile and ineffective staff that train other healthcare employees to similarly disrespect the families of special needs children."
"Told us to be here 15 minutes early stood at the door pressing the intercom button with no answer. Someone walked out that I assumed worked there and told me I needed to hit the button. I told him I pressed it about 5 times. He laughed and said someone will come down eventually. Long story short they are closed for Lunch until 1 we was told to be here at 12:45. Poor communication to say the least. Once we got in there the staff we encountered was friendly and nice."
"For weeks, we have been calling and leaving messages for a referral for much needed therapy. Nobody picks up the phone or returns our calls. Very unprofessional and rude. Meanwhile our son cannot get the care he needs."
"Very happy with them. It was a long waiting list, over a year but we finally got in. The doctor, nurse and medical student observer were kind to us, and very attentive to my son. When you make an appointment you do have to leave a message for them to call you back. I would imagine with a waiting list of a year they have many hundreds of people calling. This is an area of over 1 million people after all and very few developmental pediatricians. They do what they can inside their scope but be prepared to do your own research as well, it is your child after all."
"After reading the reviews on google about this place, I was prepared to walk into an disaster But I got the complete opposite. They were really great with my daughter. I left with a diagnoses and a lot of information for my daughter about her autism. I received a call the next day from Karen who was also really helpful. I have nothing bad to say about this place they were AWSOME!! :)"
