7-Eleven,

"Pardon my rant, but as 7/11's go this is the pits. I don't like leaving negative reviews (and management, please don't direct me to bit.ly/711 to leave a comment, maybe I'm inadequate myself as that wasn't simple). The store is barely clean and you can't count on it being open 24 hours. I've gone by late after work on more than one occasion to find a scribbled sign on the door "closed for cleaning." Yeah... Not! The "old" night manager was a very nice & pleasant guy. When I've been there more recently (when it has actually been open late) the night guy is hardly friendly. Again, I don't like leaving negative reviews but... I try to be friendly, say "Hello" and "How are you?" and barely an acknowledgement of my presence. How hard is it to just be nice? Normally I chalk it up to maybe someone having a bad day, but this is consistent. I quit going to this 7/11 & go a little out of my way to 171st & Harlem to buy gas & whatever. Pardon my rant... But again, is a simple acknowledgement of my presence too hard? Skip it."

"Its fine, but if you pay for gas inside, be prepared to go back inside to tell them to turn on the pump. That's always an issue with just about everybody. They could be a little nicer about it too."
