Reviews of Little Arrows Child-Care Facility
"I know the character of the owners and their love and care for children. Their care has moved some of the families so much that they have chosen the church associated with the daycare to come and worship. So not only do they trust them with their precious children, they also trust them to guide their families spiritually."
"The director of the daycare is the church first lady. And let me say that they are "Them type of Church People." I should've just left the day I enrolled them. For starters she asked me to come to her church for service and when I declined Lady P went on to tell me several stories about her inviting younger people to church service and after declining they passed away from bad car accidents or some kinda physical trauma. 2) One of my children have a mild speech problem and she misheard something they said. When my child tried to explain that she misheard them she then scolded them sending them home crying and upset that they were accused of being a liar. 3) Any physician will tell you that age 2 is the age where basically you have to safe guard and cushion everything in your house from cabinets, door handles to certain toys. Well my 2 year came to school with a surface scratch on her cheek (which I was informed about by the family member that dropped them off.) And Lady P takes my child into the office as soon as they are dropped off takes a picture of her cheek and sends it to me while at work asking what happened. The next day she asks the person who dropped them off what happened as if she was comparing stories. 4) My kid fell out of the bed and had redness to the area they landed on and this Lady Polight calls me wanting to know what happened but says to me, " I was told that your child was punched.. in the face..." with a giggle. The same child staff members have been witnessed pulling on them by their clothes? Lastly me and the other parent are going through a legal process, the other parent hasn't picked up nor signed them into school without me being present the pass several months. They call the other parent to come and get them and notify me after they were already picked up. I asked for a partial refund for the week and told them that, that was there last day when I realized the other parent was heading out of state with my kids and had no plans on bringing them back.(Just Messy..) Lady Polight tried to get condescending with me when I called out her and her front desk staff member for their lack of commonsense on the situation and the the other incidents that took place here involving mainly her. Also this center goes on a winter break and a sping break which you pay the full cost for services THE WEEK BEFORE , even if your child is out sick, no refund, no vacation days like most centers even though state only pay out if the kids are signed in. So why would I continue to shell out money for kids that are not attending?Oh, and I can't forget the added tuition fees every March. When I asked her for a refund for the week in writing she told me "You didn't ask for a refund, but we don't give refunds." Even though I was letting her keep extra when only 1 day of care was provided. Resulting in me having to file a dispute with my CC company on the charges."
"Little Arrows Childcare facility is based and built on the Word of God. The advantages of sending you child to this childcare facility are numerous. First and foremost, it is a God focused center that teaches children about the Word of God. The children are also taught through the Abeka curriculum. This curriculum teaches the child reading, math, and ABCs from a God focused perspective. Little Arrows also has a Before and After school program that is wonderful because the staff engages the children in age appreciate and grade level activities. These activities can range from play to doing homework after school with a teacher. Not only do the children learn in the classroom, but also learn social skills through playing with other children. I know that the staff is very caring and gentle with the children. The staff is professional and has a passionate heart for teaching and caring for the children. The environment at Little Arrows is a clean and fun environment where children learn in professionalism and care. The children that have graduated from Little Arrows have been prepared for the next levels in their educational journal. The testimonials of former students and parents are the Little Arrows has given their child a very well-rounded educational experience and taught them the Word of God. Some of our graduates have gone on to study at universities and colleges excelling at the highest level. This is a fantastic childcare center the develops the child intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually."
"This is a powerful place for your young scholars to learn and grow and to become healthy in life learned lessons. I would recommend this center as a very wholesome place to teach them all that is needed to be productive in life and to get them ready for the next level of their journey ahead. The Director Karen is very pleasant , which happens to be her last name. She is wonderful, a soft spoken Lady with a very warm spirit. So don't wait to get your child there do it NOW you want regret your decision."
"I love everything about this place. It is a safe environment for the children and the staff. The workers are so friendly and the Director Lady Pleasant is a wonderful and kind soul. This is truly a loving environment. The word real Christians come to mind when I step foot in this place everyday. The bible and the Abeka program is being taught. The love that the staff shows to the children is just wonderful and comes straight from the heart. This would be the only place to recommend for you child care needs."
