"Absolutely LOVE this shop at Oakbrook Center! I shop here fairly often and the staff is always fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the products they offer, and happy to share interesting ways to use them. Today when I stopped in, Miguel introduced me to a couple of great wines as well as a yummy oil and vinegar combo as a bread-dipping oil and then a Sweet Coffee liquer mixed with “coffee cake” liquer (tiramisu inspired) to make an espresso martini type of taste…SO DELICIOUS! I’m a big fan of Spirits and Spice, and highly recommend it. They’ve also shipped tequilas and whiskeys to family on the West Coast for me, and it’s enjoyed there as well!"

"The employees are super nice and helpful, they really know what they're talking about. We went yesterday to Christmas shop a little bit, and they gave really good recommendations and we're very friendly about it. It's expensive if you're used to getting grocery store liquor, but that's because it's much higher quality and a smaller business, so you know it isn't mass produced. I highly recommend people go here!"

"I wanted to love this store, but it's barely ok. Much too much of the pedestrian or maybe somewhat quirky at prices that are sky high. All spices which are very normal/nothing special, yet at $18 a plain bottle that costs $3 to $4, at most, $5, at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. I'm all for high end exclusive, which unfortunately, none of this that I saw, was. The wine, vinegars, chochtkes, didn't call my name. I was not wowed whatsoever."

They had a large assortment of spirits and the staff was very knowledgeable and took the time to help me find what I was looking for. It was nice to be able to try before buying as these are unique, rare, and higher end spirits. I am very happy with my purchase and will be back again!"
