"Receptionist is rude and unhelpful. Turns potential customers away without offering any type of solution or option for a waitlist first (I had to ask). Not a good first impression."
"My son started services in 2021 and had and amazing, phenomenal, great speech therapist!! She was the BEST! I thank and praise what she did with my son. Unfortunately July of 2022 she left the company. August my son was assigned a new therapist. Noticed that they were not going to do well but still gave her a chance. After a few weeks I noticed that she didn't communicate well about my son's appointments and the problems began. Lack of availability, canceling visits and not making up visits. Excuses! Visits became to once a wk then once every two wks. Sometimes no visits for a wk or two. Horrible experience!! So I decided to make a switch to clinic setting. Appointment set and confirmed, show up to find out that appointment was canceled and was not notified by anyone. The excuse given was that the therapist dialed the wrong phone number. Really! That's the best excuse you can give? Wow! I hope no other child or parent has to go through what we have. I definitely NOT recommend Circle of Care to any family for services. Doctor's offices need to do a better research of where they are sending their patients. I am disappointed with the lack of service. No compassion or responsibility from their part on the actions. Good luck to all families!!"
"Circle of care is by far the worst home health service I’ve ever had to deal with. My child was on waitlist for the longest time and there was barely any communication. When they FINALLY got someone assigned for my child they started using her school background protocol as excuse and even home visit was excuses all the time. She ended up getting placed back on a waitlist and i was told it would be about a week. Another 2MONTHS went by without a single call, email, letter or text and i got tired of waiting. This company do not care about the kids they only care about getting paid. My child got referred for a reason and I want her to get help. I took my child out of their program after waiting a total of almost a year. They sent a letter that they will discharge my child from speech therapy agency due to patient receiving services with another agency. Truth is I took her out of their services due to them being irresponsible and having lack of communication. Don’t waste your time with this agency."
"terrible service DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS INTO THIS!! They do not give the appropriate therapies. in the evaluations, they put what they want, they even say that your child has not improved so that the insurance continues to pay! and they are not interested in seeing if the kids improve or not! They are always on vacation or canceling therapies and especially the therapist! She only gave the tablet to my son while she took pictures and sent them to her friends and texting through the hole Sections . I spoke to the office and they did nothing about it, just changing my therapist, just like they did not recover all the therapies that that therapist made them lose When they changed me, the therapist only came a few times and went on vacation for a month. He returned and told me that the time for the therapies had run out and that my insurance had to approve more. There were 99 therapies that my insurance approved and the therapist only came to 15! how is that possible? I asked for the supervisor's number and they told me that they didn't know it, nor did they give me an email! DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILDREN IN THIS PROGRAM"
"My son’s developmental specialist referred him to Circle of Care back in February. Throughout the initial connection with the company, I had to initiate calls and next steps. Once we were finally able to get an evaluation scheduled, the therapist took all of maybe 15 minutes to evaluate him. My husband and I were told that he would be seen but that we needed approval from his primary and secondary insurance. Shortly after, i received a letter in the mail that my primary insurance approved services. I connected with the therapist and she stated they were still waiting. I told her I got the approval in the mail, and she stated “Oh they must be waiting on the secondary”. I continued to wait patiently. I received a text from the therapist a couple weeks later stating she was still waiting. I connected with my secondary and they stated my son was already approved. At this point, I decided this was not the place for my son. I reached out to another agency, and he was evaluated and started his first session within two weeks! The evaluation was detailed and well over 1 1/2 hours. We were even given things to start working on from the first observation. On 6/11 (remember referral was done back in February). I got a text from the therapist saying she was ready to schedule. I explained we went another route and she suggested I give feedback to Circle of Care because “she did her part”. A representative called later to push me to continue with Circle of Care. I shared with her as well why we wouldn’t utilize their services. She apologized for the length of time but they were waiting on insurance approval. Of course I knew that wasn’t accurate because I already spoke with the insurance representatives. At this point no one took any ownership which is a customer service turn off for me. I do understand that during this pandemic time, more children are needing services so times are tight. However, just state that. I am glad my mommy instinct kicked in and I looked elsewhere for my son. I know every business isn’t for everyone, but I do hope the company reads this feedback and makes some adjustments."
