"You can't go wrong with Pet Relocation, and I especially recommend their extremely experienced Global Relocation Manager/Team Lead Jill Rush - a friendly, consummate, detail-focused professional with excellent communication skills and the patience of Job. She made what could have been a very frightening, unpredictable transition as smooth as glass - almost routine. I like routine! Especially when it comes to moving my beloved dogs to Europe, and especially when my oldest is on the Portuguese Dangerous Breeds list. When I expressed fear about my Staffordshire Bull Terrier Midge being rejected at customs, Jill reached out to her contact at Portuguese customs, and forwarded to me assuring communications from that contact, along with anecdotal details about another bull terrier they'd just received that month. Jill went the extra mile and took the time to assuage my fears. She also fostered constant contact via text and WhatsAp, having her agents provide photos and videos from the 2-day road transport to Houston International and from overseas airports and pet hotels. Very reassuring! I sold a house in New Mexico; fell out of contract on one house in Portugal; then bought another house in Portugal; applied for and ultimately received an EU visa - all of which was extremely challenging and definitely a process. BUT BY FAR -- the prospect of getting my two dogs safely to Europe was what I feared would be the most stressful aspect of this whole trans-Atlantic move. And I was a royal pain in the neck, being the textbook, Type A worrier that I am. But Jill handled it all with aplomb and flexibility, providing quick adjustments and solutions when things changed, and they invariably do change with such a move. Pet Relocation's ground transport partners in the US and in Portugal are all equally professional, assuring and accommodating. Both of my pups arrived happy, healthy and well, reaching Portugal when Pet Relocation said they would. Within a day, my dogs were playing in their new yard and behaving as if nothing out of the ordinary had transpired at all. We all could not be happier! This was by far the easiest part of my move to Portugal. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would recommend Pet Relocation and Jill Rush without hesitation! Thanks Jill!"

"So thankful for Pet Relocation, and especially to Kristina, for getting our dog safely and happily from the US to the UK for our big move. I don't think it's exaggerating to say that we would not have effectively been able to do it without the help of Kristina and team. They are subject matter experts when it comes to guidelines and regulations related to transporting a pet and I don't think we would have been able to figure out all of the requirements, nuance and timing without support. Not only that, but we had previously done a cross-country move with our dog that did not go nearly as well, where he struggled with anxiety for quite a while afterwards. "I moved my two cats from the US to the UK and was deciding between two companies. Between the reviews and my phone consultation with Kristina Nelson, I felt confident that Pet Relocation was the company to use. Kristina and the other liaisons who assisted with the move were SO helpful. I got updates throughout the entire process on what was needed from me, when the cats' flights were booked, all the necessary flight info, and check ins as they arrived at their layover and final destination. They also worked directly with the vets office to ensure I had all the correct documentation I needed for the flights and for customs. Kristina also checked in a few times after the move to make sure everything was going smoothly with the transition. I was so worried about the cats during the trip as the furthest I'd ever traveled with them was 30 minutes to my vets office, but Pet Relocation really took care of them. It's an expensive process, but moving cats abroad was always going to be expensive - I'd much prefer to pay more and have everything taken care of than pay less and make a mistake because of a complex process. "Bottom line up front, I could not recommend Pet Relocation and especially Natalia highly enough! If you have cause to move your pet overseas, use them. I recently used Pet Relocation to move my two and a half year old Black Lab mutt named Dennis from Maine to Greater Manchester UK. The whole group, particularly Natalia, were absolutely incredible. I simply could not have managed it without them. They spoon fed me (and I needed it) the entire process from paperwork, to appointments, to timing, to what kinds of equipment was needed to where all I had to do was follow Natalia's instructions. She was instrumental in coordinating with our vet on the eve of his departure, and went above and beyond tracking down the USDA in California when we hit a snafu with one vet document.
