Very knowledgeable and very fair prices on hard to find bourbon. I wish I had a place like this to shop at in Colorado. I will be back while traveling for business."

"They’re not the worst store in the area for bourbon hunting, they’re also not the best store in the area either. I like the people who work there a lot, I just wish they’d be willing to cut me a good deal on something like Stagg. I’ve bought EH Taylor SB for $100, Eagle Rare for $75, Bookers for $120 (all above retail price) and various other bottles, beer and seltzers. Would like to continue to build a relationship with the folks down at JP Liquors and hopefully purchase a bottle of Stagg Jr for between $150-$200. Which is still well above retail price, so I’m not asking for much here."

"Where do I start? I was looking for a liquor store in the area with allocated bourbon. I was a bit apprehensive due to the recent poor review but figured I'd stop by just to take a look. And boy, they have everything! Now it's not all at MSRP, but they have bundles and if you spend a certain amount, they'll sell it to you at retail. If you spent anytime searching for bourbon, secondary is extremely inflated. At least here I get more bang for my buck. Plus there's a great selection at MSRP, even cheaper than Binnys in some cases. I spent more than 30 min talking to Pat who was knowledgeable and friendly. We talked about his store picks and his trips to Kentucky. He even let me sample his 1920 single barrel store pick (freaking amazing). Anyways, this will be my go to liquor store and I'm looking forward to more conversations with Pat. If you're a bourbon enthusiast, I highly recommend checking them out. If not, great! More opportunity for me!"
