"My recent experience with Marisa McGee at H&R Block was extremely disappointing and left me unsatisfied. I'm sharing my concerns to help others considering her services. During my appointment with her, I noticed a significant lack of expertise and professionalism. Whenever I had a question, she consistently turned to her coworker for answers, unable to provide explanations how certain tax processes work, such as gift money, dividends, bank interest or bonus. Her inability to explain tax code, regulations, and official guidance raised doubts about her quality of the service she provides. The next day, when I reached out to Marisa regarding a missed document over the phone, she seemed busy and assured me she would look into it and call me back. However, I never received any response back from her. It was very disappointing to experience such poor customer service especially when dealing with important tax matters. The service fee I paid was $315 (Tax preparation + other fees). It is no worth it for this level of service I received from her. Truly disappointing."

"I had an extremely disappointing experience with H&R Block that left me feeling frustrated and let down. I made an appointment well in advance and, as a dedicated military service member, I took time off work to attend the meeting. However, when I arrived at the store for my appointment, there was nobody present to assist me. The store itself was open, but it seemed like the employees were nowhere to be found. I waited for a considerable amount of time, hoping someone would show up, but there was no sign of any staff members. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable, especially when customers have taken time off their busy schedules, like I did. As a service member, I understand the importance of punctuality and commitment, and it's disheartening to see a company that doesn't value those principles. H&R Block's inability to honor their appointments reflects poorly on their organization, and it makes me question their reliability as a tax service provider. Furthermore, the fact that I had to take time off work, which is not always easy in the military, only adds to my frustration and disappointment. It shows a complete lack of respect for customers' time and commitments. I reached out to the company later to express my concerns and seek an explanation, but the customer service I received was lackluster as well. The representative I spoke with seemed unapologetic and offered no genuine resolution for the inconvenience I endured. I had expected a more professional and respectful approach from a company that prides itself on providing tax services to the public. Unfortunately, my experience with H&R Block has been far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend their services based on this disappointing encounter. It's a shame because I had hoped for a positive and seamless tax filing experience, but instead, I was left feeling undervalued and disrespected as a customer and a military service member."

"My husband and I have been coming to H&R Block for over 20+ years. They are always professional and we would always leave the office 100% satisfied every single year. When this location opened up a few years ago, it has been convenient since it's only minutes away from our home. This location has been nothing but professional and the experience are always pleasant. We have been seeing Melissa Chavez for a few years now. She is professional and we are always happy every time she finishes our taxes. Look forward to seeing her again next year and many more years to come."

"There’s a reason why this place has high reviews. Norma was extremely helpful and diligent to our situation. For months we’ve been having issues submitting our federal return. However, within an hour or so she had us in and out. I left feeling confident in our choice to come to H&R and will NEVER be using anyone else ever again."
