ABF Freight

"Shipping with ABF is not always the cheapest option but some days they are very competitive with the bigger shippers like fedex freight. The difference is the quote they give is the price you pay unlike fedex that adds fees, surcharges, and sometimes 1000s of extra lbs to our shipments. ABF does not do this and though they are not the fastest shipper my experience with the drivers has always been a positive one."

"I have had hundreds of shipments from many different companies. Large and small. But out of 26 times with ABF, 28 positive deliveries! Not always on time, not always perfect, but always a professional who is courteous and professional! Never bad service! They can't control everything and I understand that but professionalism is paramount!"

"Over promise and under deliver. The trademark of all bad companies. I received a call on Tuesday the 7th in which I was scheduled a delivery for Friday the 10th. They provided me a delivery window of 8am-8pm which is inconvenient but not unexpected from a freight company. I happily accepted with the knowledge provided that I would receive a call an hour in advance of the delivery. I planned my day around the promised delivery and made sure I would be at my residence to recieve it. As the day came and went I received no calls and no notification as to what had become of my shipment. No call of cancelation, nothing. Only around 9pm did my tracking number register that my shipment had been returned to their hub warehouse. It would have been fantastic to receive my package today, but I would not need such great service to give a good review. A simple call notifying me of their failure to deliver on the promised date would have been invaluable. Instead with no information provided by the company I wasted an entire 12 hour delivery window waiting around for a package which would not be delivered. I cannot in good conscience rate ABF Freight anything above 1 star due to their absolute failure to provide any customer service whatsoever."

"Terrible. A 400lb box containing a treadmill was dumped on our driveway with no help from the driver and no way to move it into the house. How do you expect a man and women (in their 50's) to lift a 400 lbs box into the house (and with no way of moving it except using their bare hands)!! It was really stressful and took 2 hours and it was over 100 degrees outside. Worst experience in my life and I will no longer be using a freight company. The driver was unfriendly and did not offer any help or assistance. Just dumped the box and left. It completely stressed us both out and both agree to never move anything by freight again. AND it was meant to be a 4 hour window to deliver and it took almost 5 and a half hours!!! AND the box was smashed in and no care was taken with something that cost us almost $5000 !!!"

"The forklift drivers Always willing to help out in everything. Some of the office lady are helpful but others always so hateful and talking smack. Remember we can hear you saying rude things. FYI YOU ARE THERE TO DO A JOB."
