Childrens Dyslexia Center
About the Business
The Children's Dyslexia Center, located at 305 West Stephenson Street in Freeport, Illinois, is a nationally recognized institution that provides intensive reading instruction for children in grades 1 through 12. Our dedicated team believes that every child should have access to high-quality reading and writing instruction, helping them succeed in school and future careers.
For over 25 years, the Children's Dyslexia Centers, in partnership with Scottish Rite Freemasonry of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, have been assisting children in regaining confidence and self-esteem through proven methods of reading instruction, tutoring, and dyslexia remediation. Our centers follow an Orton-Gillingham based, multisensory structured language education (MSLE) approach, tailored to each child's needs.
With over 40 locations in 13 states, we have helped over 16,000 children through our program, with the support of our professional staff, trainees, volunteers, and friends. Our trained tutors provide one-on-one tutoring twice a week after regular school hours, allowing for personalized curriculum and measurable progress.
By investing in the potential of children, we are investing in the future of our world. Visit us at Glendoveer's in Rochester, NY, and join us in changing lives forever through the power of literacy.
