"When I first started PT for cubital tunnel I was paired with a student who didn’t really know what she was doing as far as therapeutic massage went. After a few weeks with zero progress, I asked to be switched to one of the permanent therapists and started to see some progress. A month and a half in I received an astronomical bill. I called the office and informed them I would not be able to continue therapy if this was the cost. I was assured that it was just because there was a delay in my insurance. I was told I should keep coming to therapy, and that there shouldn’t be any surprise bills, that the copay I was paying each visit was in place to make sure of this. I continued to attend PT for 4 months and got my cubital tunnel to get to a point that it is manageable just with exercises at home. Now that I had “graduated,” I was sent a bill for over a thousand dollars. When I called the office once again to ask what the heck was going on, they basically told me they had no idea, and I was on my own. I ended up in literal tears with their billing department, but was told if I paid it all in one go, they would give me a discount and I would never to hear from them again. This destroyed a lot of plans I had for the year, but at least I wasn't going to end up in medical debt. Well, surprise surprise, today I received another bill from them! It is basically for the amount that they had agreed to discount for paying in full. This is why people don't seek preventative medicine and let fixable problems get to the point of needing surgery. Despite their competent PT staff, I would never go to Peak Physical Therapy again."

"At first I was happy with the service as Amanda was very focused on my back issue. As often happens with PTs, she worked on my back for about 20-25 minutes in the first 3 visits with massage and this was reduced to about 5 minutes the last two visits. I went out of town and came back and was catching up at work and didn’t setup a new appointment and they called multiple times to do so. When I scheduled up again, 45 minutes before the apmt they called to cancel. They never called back to schedule nor did I call them. Then after telling me 9 visits in a row that I owed nothing, they started sending a bill for $315 on past visits multiple times. They had told me 9 visits in a row I owed nothing! They didn’t call to explain or discuss. So unprofessional! Firms that just relegate you to their interns for most of visit, and then don’t have courtesy to even explain a bill that I was assured I didn’t owe for 6 weeks, don’t deserve any referrals. I will never pay them as this is ridiculous."

"My experience at Peak was phenomenal! Kate is a brilliant PT who made me feel comfortable and helped me make progress every step of the way. She is extremely knowledgeable and motivated me the entire five months I was there recovering from a torn Achilles. Beyond Kate, the rest of the staff was incredibly nice and friendly and treated me like I was their own patient. I truly enjoyed going to PT every time I was there. I highly recommend Peak to anyone, they will get you right in no time and you will have plenty of laughs in the process."
