"Horrible feed!!! Extremely high starch!! I’ve fed it for 3 or 4 weeks and all horses have lost weight and one is crippled up from laminitis. I went and searched different fb equine nutrition groups and found tons of people who have the same issues as I am. I wish I had done more research before making my animals suffer. They also claim that you can feed this feed with no hay, that is bs and awful for the horses.. idk how they are in business.. now I’m stuck with bags of this expensive junk."
"I am honestly super disappointed with Total Equine. My horse is five years old and has been on it for almost a year. This past weekend, he had his second serious colic on this feed (no other changes). Both colic episodes resulted in days and days in the hospital, thousands of dollars in vet bills, and my horse could have lost his life. He will be off this feed as soon as he comes home. Super over priced for what it is. Does not mix well with Texas coastal hay."
"we start using Total Equine fall of 2018 shortly after we start to use Total Bull had a HARD time even getting it on a regular basis first of all feed is in my opinion way overpriced and not worth for the lack of results we also had a issue with the moldy feed numerous times even when feed was brought directly from Total feeds plant after 5 months of feeding total bull we have not seen the results we were promised compared to the previous feeds we had been been using if total bull is such a fabulous feed why can only find 2 feed stores that sell it and 1 is carrying a very limited supply that speaks loudly that notva demand for it"
"My direct dealer is great but the distributor in our area sucks always selling my feet out from under my dealer and then I have to wait it would be nice to get consistent feed on a regular basis instead of getting screwed over by your distributor I don't care if she does have a pet store in Loveland it's not right"
"Total Feeds is an awesome family-owned company. Their flagship feed, Total Equine, has saved me a small fortune in supplements and is the best thing for all horses of any age or breed without question. Once you learn how the feed works you will never give your horses grain again. I now feed Total Canine and Total Bird and those feeds have amazing results as well. You will not be disappointed with the quality or the price. My per feeding cost went down $0.47 for the horses and my hay consumption is down at least 15%."
