"I work at Trinity Dental off Minonite rd, and I literally see them stop in front of my office every day, truck driver Y101 that picks up people in this area is literally the MOST POLITE person I have ever seen pick passengers up. They wait however long they need to, SMILE and open the door for their passengers each day. Comes to show people still care on this hard filled life we live in. I’ve never personally used these guys but I give a million thanks for seeing their love and respect for this, I imagine, not so easy job."
"I have been using Fort Bend Transit from the very beginning. The bus service has come a very long, long way as far as schedule reliability. However, the bus service still needs to make advancements in service. The buses are very old fashioned, as far as, the bus ride is not smooth, especially when seated on the back of the bus. The buses make rattling noises the entire ride to designated location(s), the seats are small and not having enough seating for the amount of bus rider using the service because the "shuttle" buses are small. Also the are not reverse commute services offered, therefore, if you need to a ride back to your car during the day, YOU WILL BE STUCK!!!!! Except for 12 pm at TMC. If you need a ride back to the park & ride before or after 12 pm until 3:00 pm , you are stranded. Also ,most of the drivers act as if they do not want to bothered by the riders asking them questions in regards to bus routes, return destination options, temperature control on the bus, avoiding speeding over speed bumps on the HOV lane. There is one driver for the TMC route in the morning route, is very rude. She does not like for someone to ask a question, she gives the riders nasty looks and smug responses to their questions. The drivers need to remember that we pay for the service with Fort Bend County Tax dollars and additionally having to purchase the Ft. Bend Transit tickets/tokens. 1). Ft. Bend Transit needs to upgrade the shuttle buses to metro buses (i.e. Park & Ride style buses that are in metropolitan cities (Houston Area and the Woodlands/Conroe). 2). Offer reverse commute times to accommodate the riders who may have to use transit during the day. 3). Provide safer commuter buses for a better ride experience. 4). Hold the Ft. Bend bus drivers accountable for their NASTY interactions with the customers/riders. Ft. Bend Transit still has a long ways to go regarding their service. The need take a lesson from the park & ride Metro Bus services in Houston as a guide/example."
"I just read the reviews . I thought I would write a review and it would matter. Nope because these reviews goes back as far as a year. So I know me calling or doing this reviews will not matter but I will still do it. This company is the worst . Change time on you and you don't even know that it change. I keep calling and reporting this.but it seems when you do that the next time they even later. They want you to be pick up 5hours before the time you need to be at your destination. And no what you say to they about you need to be on time it doesn't matter. Haven't talk to anyone that's rude but they seem to be all liars. Horrible Horrible service"
"HORRIBLE. They consistently show up late or not at all and now there's this new thing were you call, you hold for 20 minutes, then they disconnect the call. Sometimes the call disconnects right away so there's no way to schedule new rides or cancel old ones (but they still count it against you as a 'no show' if you don't cancel a trip you no longer need even though they hang up on you) I'm pretty sure it's the staff not wanting to talk to people because...THE STAFF IS UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND INCOMPETENT. They are the most unprofessional people you will ever talk to. Juan is super unhelpful and goes out of his way not to help you. You literally have to debate with him to get the times you need. It's so sad. The person who answers if you press option 1 is a very mean woman with a lot of attitude for no reason. It's a shame that they don't think people in a tough spot that really need affordable transportation don't deserve good service. The buses have a 30 minute window and still just can't seem to make it in that time frame. But most of all the customer service people will ruin your whole day. They all need to be fired and replaced. The service sucks. You could at least be nice."
"On Thursday, 5/19/22 we attempted to use Metro along with Ft. Bend Transit to go to our dentist in Sugarland. I had scheduled the trip well in advance as instructed by Ft. Bend’s staff. We were going from our apartment, near Beltway 8 and Westheimer, to our dentist in Sugar Land. We took Metro to the West Bellfort Park & Ride center. I did make the mistake of not asking exactly where in the transit center we were going to be picked up by Ft. Bend Transit. So I asked our Metro driver where to go and we went to sit right by the Ft. Bend Transit sign. But the driver never stopped there. It was 30 minutes or more after we were supposed to be picked up when I decided to stretch my legs and walked behind the bus stop where we were. It was just then that I spotted the Ft. Bend Transit vehicle a few rows over just sitting there! I walked over and the driver asked if I was his rider. He said that this wasn’t his usual route so he didn’t know where to pick up Metro riders like us. Apparently training their drivers on procedures like knowing where in to pick up riders is not part of the curriculum. We got to the dentist and made our appointments. The dentist is in a shopping center and after your visit they prefer you to not hang around the office due to Covid. So we waited outside in the heat for about an hour but the return driver never showed. I tried calling their office but got no help. Eventually we went to a restaurant in the shopping center and one of their waitresses was kind enough to call a Yellow cab. I don't know about you but this kind of "customer service" doesn't do a lot for a company’s reputation. Not to mention the hardships that their "customers" have to endure. And, considering that I was required to book this trip in advance, their staff had ample time to get this right. And the wait time when calling their office is often so long that "customers" like us don't stand a chance of actually getting and from our destination. See you on the web."
