"Make sure to read the consent forms because they have a 100% cancellation fee and they WILL charge your card for it. I know it’s my fault for not making a meeting but this is the first time for any appointment I have missed where I been charged a 100% cancellation fee. (which was $150) My counselor Matt Sessoms said it was standard practice so I will take his word for it. I’ve visited a couple other counselors in the past and non have had issues making our appointments on time but with Matt Sessoms I honestly think each one of the one on one meetings started late. One started about 10 minutes late, I had actually hopped off the online meeting website thinking he may had just forgot and he text me later to get on because he was ready. I know you value your time but if your going to have such strict repercussions for missing a meeting I expect the same respect back when it comes to showing up to the meetings on time. I am sure he was just finishing up other meetings but still, not an issue I encountered with other counselors who are also busy. Matt did always make sure I got the 55 minutes of counseling regardless of what time we started so I am grateful for that. When we actually did the sessions I could tell he was experienced and seemed to really care about his patients. And I enjoyed my talks with him, they were definitely helpful. I don’t think this is the best fit though so I will continue to look for a counselor, but I am grateful to have had the chance to talk Matt."
