"After being there for only 2 weeks my son passed away. He lost his battle with Clippers disease. My wife was a Godsend. She helped me through those very dark days. I would not have made it without her. I of course requested a couple of days off to attend the funeral in Houston. The owner told me that I could go, but that he couldnt guarantee that my truck would still be available when I got back. He said that he owns this truck and that he needs it to be profitable. And that all my stuff needs to be removed from the truck before I left just in case. In the same conversation, he went on to state that he shouldnt have to pay for tires I replaced/repaired. A trailer tire had side wall damage and another one had a slow leak. I paid $380.00 and had taken care of them and sent in my receipt. Driving back and forth on lease roads, especially Briscoe ranch, tire damage is going to happen from time to time. Overwhelmed by this blatant act of greed, and clearly in no mental condition to argue my case, I just agreed to pay for the tires. I support 8 Grandkids and just couldnt risk being without an income. I simply couldnt afford to go find a new job at that time. So, I attended the funeral via live stream. I ran for 7 days a week for well over 100 straight days. I had to, I was buried in medical bills. I really needed a break. I was worn out. I requested a few days off to go visit my dad. The owner once again threatened me with the possibility of losing my truck, but I left anyways. I was in really bad shape and really needed a break. Sure enough, the very next day I was informed I no longer had a truck to drive, but I was welcome to re-apply. Being in a better financial position I obviously just moved on to a different company. The money is not worth it. Work for him at your own risk."
"Great company to work with. Their staff is amazing and I highly recommend them for your trucking needs!"
"They say no lease fees and charge fees if you leave. The owner likes hearing himself talk. Their pay is lower than others hauling to the same well. Their trailers and trucks are not well maintained. STAY AWAY!!!!"
"Edit 12-3-22: Told me "check was is in the mail" I didn't believe them. Check in the mail 12-3-22. Hadn't checked mail at home in 3 weeks. I worked sometime in Oct 2022. Pros: -Has ok equipment (somebody hit something with truck and didn't report it prior to me getting truck. Loose bumper & cracked radiator) -Good contracts with good companies. -Decent drivers on staff. Most were friendly Cons: -Head Honcho a little high strung. -Some contracts a bit high strung at lease & load-out -TX DOT -Took out $$$ for drug test. I worked for a week. Was going to come back but didn't see a check (initially), so didn't."
"Dispatcher and safety have no regard or concern when you have HOS Violations, not enough sleep, etc. All they see is $$. The payroll person is really nice, polite, and willing to help. The owner is a great guy. laid back, understanding, and willing to listen to you."
