"The location is right across from Oak Brook Mall and adjacent to many stores and restaurants. The M-Club Lounge is what I always look forward to. They started putting out finger foods and desserts at 4:30pm and gave a few options. Parking was convenient and free. Although I did not see any evidence, they said the upper floors were being remodeled. The room was historical looking, but clean. - Titanium Elite Member"

"Room 621, Thursday 1/18/24: Nice desk clerk. All linens were clean and the carpet vacuumed. Toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, black mold on the ceiling above the shower, what appeared to be blood smeared on the front of the toilet bowl, curtains would not close completely, thermostat almost directly above HVAC unit so the only warm spot in the room was the furthest away from the bed and bath. The nightstands were beat up. I recently stayed at the Marriott in Chicago near Rush Medical Center and it was MUCH nicer. Still… Marriott? I thought you had some dignity."

"Run from this hotel. This hotel will steal your money. I was overcharged for a night and the hotel refuses to return the overcharged amount. Management won’t even return phone calls. I’ve been a loyal Marriott Titanium member for over 15 years. Trust me when I tell you this hotel is the worst. RUN FROM THIS HOTEL."

"As a lifetime titanium elite member, I have had many great experiences in Marriott hotels. HOWEVER, this is one of, if not the worst, hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The staff is halfass and couldn’t care less about the customers. The hotel room is atrocious and disgusting, all while smelling like sweaty clothes. I have never been upgraded, but did speak to a good member who was upgraded to a suite. About right I guess…typical. The construction is unbearable…and I don’t see the improvements anywhere. If you have a choice, even outside of Marriott, never stay at this place. Marriott is better closing it down, gutting it, hiring all new staff and trying again. What a pathetic example and look for the brand."

"I was here for a religious conference and while the conference was top notch. The rooms were dirty, housekeeping did not want to clean the room no vacuum insight had to leave garbage outside of the room. Had to beg for toilet paper and clean towels, go by my own cleaning products. There are bugs in the light fixtures. Only one microwave for the whole hotel which has 12 floors. While I love the conference and host church, if it is here next year I will have to watch from home. This is by far thee worst Marriott I have stayed in. I am surprised it carry’s the hotel chain name. They have put more into the lobby than anything else. I feel we deserve a full refund. It was an unsanitary stay and I was stuck from 9/13-9-18/2023. I will be following up with the hotel chain because this is ridiculous. They should know what kind of hotel is carrying their name. Maybe they need to send someone here anonymous so they can experience what is really happening here."
