"The people here are fantastic, and everything is always really clean. That being said, the pumps are horrible. They're super slow and finicky. If for some reason you have to cancel the transaction to start over, they take forever to reset. They won't accept nfc payment from the phone half the time, and sometimes it'll cancel the transaction if you use your card. Also, maybe make the parking/maneuvering area a bit bigger? It gets horribly congested frequently. One last thing, feels like being stuck in a sardine can inside the register area."

"Tried to buy gas with the Payactiv card. Would not work, not stations fault was Payactiv problem,but no one there knew about Payactiv made it bad since Murphy promotes Payactiv."

"The Poplar Bluff location did not meet the expectations that I have developed over many years of patronizing multiple Murphy's locations throughout Missouri and Illinois. I've never encountered a Murphy's where you had to prepay if paying cash,which is one of the two reasons I choose them over other stations. Apparently whoever makes policy decisions for this location doesn't understand that loss from theft is something all retailers must absorb as a cost of doing business, and that inconveniencing all their honest customers to avoid theft is not justified. I'm well aware that Casey's also has a lowest price in town policy throughout their chain, and have never encountered a prepay policy at one of their stores. From now on I will be mindful of this,and will think of Casey's as being my most reliable choice."
