"On a Saturday morning while everyone was still asleep, i started contacting Fat Boy Towing around 4:30am at 7am the owners wife i presume answered the phone politely,, at 9am as she told me the Yard supervisor showed up and i was able to retrieve my 2006 Dodge Charger i let my son use to go on Date... He was pulled over by Taco Bell Sidney baker for driving on his Phone... Legitimate pull over, yet arrested for a Vape he bought legally from the "Fog House" right behind the court house ??? Is this some deal between the city and the Vape shops to sell these "Vapes" to are kid's and then Reap the Benefits thru the municipal area's of Kerrville by Local police and Court Fee's adding in the Probation Fee's ???? Let's say $10,000 to the city for every Arrest made. Yes im Upset at the city but thank you Fat Boys for being extremely reasonable and professional !!! I let my Son use my Charger for a date and was Arrested over a legal Vape with the wrong charge."

"I’ve read reviews regarding AAA & this company not getting the job done. This is not the case! I called AAA & had a similar experience. Was more than a little upset when I spent 3 hours standing in a parking lot & no one showed up. I was about to write this company off for good when I got a call from Jason with Fat Boy Towing. He explained to me that AAA was not dispatching them correctly. I was skeptical to say the least but Jason said he would be at my house in the countryside north of Fredericksburg at 9 am. He left with my vehicle about 10 minutes ago & my 9 am alarm is going off as I write this. Everyone complaining about this company who is going through AAA address your complaints to the right people at AAA. Not my boys at Fat Boy!"

"Never hire Fat Boys towing! We are AAA members who called for towing service from Boerne to Huebner Road in San Antonio. The lady from Fat Boys said the wait was 1.5 hours. After 3 hours we called to see what was the delay. She said the driver was still on the same call from 4 hours ago and it would be another 1.5 hours longer for us to be serviced. We’ve been in this parking lot for 3.5 hours now. Thank God there was a bank nearby to let us use the bathroom. We called AAA again to explain the situation. AAA called Fat Boys Towing and the lady couldn’t even tell AAA what time they would be here. So . . . Fat Boys deceived us with their arrival time AAA immediately called another towing company and the driver just called us to say he would be here in 15 minutes. Fat Boys are indeed Fat LAZY, LYING Boys. By the way, in the time it took me to write this, the other towing truck showed up - PANTUSA TOWING. Hired them!"

"This is the second time this company has burned me. A few weeks ago, I contacted AAA to be towed from the side of the road at 8:30pm. After finding out it was Fatboy towing, I called to confirm they were sending someone out. Fatboy towing confirmed. Well, 10:30pm rolls around and I called them back. No answer. Tried 20 min later no answer. So I had to contact another tow truck company and pay out of pocket. Didn’t get picked up until 2:30am. Fast forward to today. I contacted AAA again for a tow. They dispatched Fatboy towing again. They called and said the driver is in SA and he will head my way after the call he was on. She lets me know that AAA pays for only 7 miles and the miles overages was $45. I agreed and paid over the phone. Vehicle was picked up at 12:55pm. I get another call at 1:40 stating that my car was picked up. I said ok, I know I was here. She then proceeded to tell me I owe another $35 dollars for the return trip of the driver. So, return trip to where? Got no answer. He came from SA not Kerrville, and ended back up in SA where he came from. Why wasn’t this disclosed at the beginning, they knew he was in SA and knew he had to go to Bulverde and back to SA on the original call of paying? The call he was on in SA before he came out, did they have to pay a return trip charge to Bulverde? So now you have my car hostage if I don’t pay it. Got it. We call this being a crook and shady business practices. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB, Attorney general and AAA about your practices. Taking advantage of people is not good practices especially when the car is already on the truck and you leave the customer no choice."

"This company is supposed to be a AAA contracted tow company, meaning they get paid by AAA for their towing services and have agreed upon rates, etc…..YET, they still believe in unethical business practices and extortion of customers!! They made me wait 2.5 plus hours in a rural part of Bulverde, and when they Fiancè arrived tried to tell me AAA is only covering $500 for the tow and I have ro pay the driver an additional $220 out tellof pocket. They couldn’t explain the rates and milage breakdown to me over the phone and purposely waited until the driver got to me to extort additional payment, instead of informing me up front when the service call was placed over 2.5hrs ago. When I expressed my concern and frustration the manager showed no empathy or compassion and actually proceeded to chastise me and complain to me as if I was in the wrong!!! I will absolutely NEVER use them nor recommend them ever! And I will shout from the mountain tops to warn the world not to use them either!"
