"Our children are happy here. We get lots of daily updates via the app. Ms. Tracey, the new director, is great and is doing her best to ensure that staff retention issues are addressed. She really listens to parents, and I appreciate that. I am really surprised by the negative review - the staff here clearly care about the kids. A special shout-out to Ms. Sierra in the toddler room, who is absolutely incredible."
"I would give this daycare zero stars if I could. My daughter initially went to a different daycare in Evanston, she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we made the switch to Childtime due to financial reasons. After two weeks of attending Childtime, my daughter was no longer excited to go to daycare. In the morning when we would get ready to leave, she would beg me to not go, cry and hide in the closet. I noticed the change in behavior and watched her closely. She came home one day with a bruise around her eye, another day with a cut and bruise on her forehead. Her final and last day at Childtime I picked her up and she had the bruise on a handprint on her arm, showing someone grabbed her with excessive force. I didn’t want to jump to conclusions so I took her to her pediatrician the next day and the pediatrician confirmed my suspicions. The pediatrician and I both filed reports with the state regarding the abuse. My daughter at the time was just under 2 years old and could barely advocate for herself, please don’t send your children here. Looking back I found tons of negative reviews, I wish I had done more research before sending her."
"Our family is so grateful for the loving structure and care that our son has received from Childtime in Evanston. This learning center is remarkably well managed by a competent and professional team of administrators. Joi, Cheryl, and Amanda set the tone for the entire school with their positivity, attention to detail, and sincere care for the needs of each individual child. We have been impressed by the clean, bright learning environment, the level of communication between staff and families, and the quality of care and instruction provided by the teaching and support staff. The greatest compliment we can provide is that our 2 year old is happy to arrive and play with his teachers and friends, and disappointed when it’s time to tell them goodbye."
"I couldn’t be happier with this daycare. My son’s teachers are absolutely amazing. Ms Parlina and Ms Liz and all the other teachers are taking such a great care of him. We’ve started part time, I was pretty sure that it will take my son forever to adjust to a new place but it took him a week maybe and he is full time now. He is bilingual and believe it ot not, our teachers have learnt some Ukrainian words so it’s easier to understand him. He is very sensitive to new people and new surroundings but with teachers’ love and attention I can see how happy he is there. Not to mention Director Joi who is very flexible and understanding. Super happy with our choice and can deffinitely recommend it."
"We have loved our time at Childtime (we have been there since my now two year old was seven months old). The staff is really caring and they have taught our son so much more than we ever could have at home (I didn't even think to teach him to count but now he counts to ten!) and he just loves his teachers and friends. The administrative staff has been super accommodating of my weird schedule which I don't think I'd find at another daycare center. I would (and have) highly recommend Childtime."
