"I’m a first time mom and was very apprehensive about sending my son to daycare. He started at the CDC when he was about 4 1/2 months old and we’ve had a wonderful experience. The staff is so kind and makes me feel confident leaving him in their care when I’m at work. The infant care workers are awesome and so sweet. I don’t have a single issue or concern. Hope my review helps other military families trying to navigate childcare at Great Lakes!"

"My 8month old child got a small skull fracture here. The base’s NCIS put off the case for 3 months “looked into it” then closed it, Then DFCS the child services were waiting for NCIS’s feedback, and when NCIS didn’t have any because they didn’t conduct a real investigation, DCFS just indicated it then closed the case. After all this I started hearing other stories of babies coming outta that place with bruises all over. They have way to little staff to handle the amount of children then out in the infant room. Just spend the extra money on a local home daycare. My child wasn’t eating or sleeping for them and would be miserable when we got home, after the investigation, I switched daycares and all the sudden she started eating again, napping, she was happy when I picked her up, and she didn’t break down into tears anymore when I left. Home daycares all the way."

"Absolute trash. Navy IG should be informed about the way this center is operated. Rude staff Child always has bruises or is falling and hitting head. Horrible."
