Glen Spa Nails

"I went there for the first time to receive a pedicure. I asked if they offer a spa pedicure since, I haven’t received a pedicure in awhile and the woman says they do and it’s $15 more then the regular pedicure. I decided to get a spa pedicure because I thought they would be more through with my nails, especially since I told her I believe I might have ingrown and I was hoping to receive long massage, I was just paying for the different product. Of course, she up sell me by telling I should get dazzle dry that my nails will be dry in 5 minutes. As soon as I put my shoes on, the woman wanted my payment, so I paid. I used there restroom, put my coat and grabbed my belongings and the woman says to me “Where’s my tip”? It took me off guard because she expected it. I work in the beauty space and know the importance of customer service, yes typically you tip for your service you receive, but it’s earned and you’re not entitled to it. I told her I don’t have cash and some places let you tip on the credit card, she said “give me your card and tell me how much you’re going to leave me.” I’ve never experienced that level of unprofessionalism and wouldn’t recommend any one to receive a service here. I don’t have an issue with tipping, I have an issue with the woman feeling entitled and being rude. If you’re looking for quick service and don’t care if the pedicure will last, then this place is for you, but if you’re seeking a good service and professionalism there are plenty of places you can go to and won’t feel rushed or told you need to leave a tip. I still feel like I have an ingrown nail. Very disappointed."

"I have extremely thin and delicate nails due to a medical condition, so I always warn my techs in advance to use a very slow drill and to be gentle. Young did my entire dip set by hand and paid great attention to detail. She was very patient and took extra time to make sure the removal of my previous color did not hurt. All of the utensils and brushes were clean and everyone inside was kind and welcoming. The cost was much less than I expected, especially after she spent so much extra time with me. She even prepped my cuticles and gave me a quick shoulder/ back rub while my nails dried! I’m visiting from out of town, so I won’t be able to come back regularly, but if I lived in this area I would definitely make this my new shop."

"The technicians are great! I got a pedicure and ended up not being happy with the color, I came back the next day and they were understanding & did a polish change for me. I appreciate how caring they are! I recommend & will be back."

"I love to come here on my lunch breaks, however after today's experience I don't know if I will go back. The new lady did my manicure today and she was terrible, put no effort into it at all, lazy, went to fast, didn't cut my cuticles at all. My nails look pretty bad I like the other ladies so much I didn't want to make a stink. Too bad I used to love going there."

"nice place, i've had a pedicure here. no television but they offer to bring you a few magazines to read. I had mine done by lisa, very friendly and did a great job. i was on short amount of time to pick up my daughter from school and she made sure i made it out in time."
