"My son & I got tatted today. From my first initial email to David, to our consultation, to the actual tattoos I felt 100% comfortable and knew he would take care of us. He’s super talented and the shop is calm, clean, and comfy. I plan on going back to have an old tattoo fixed."

"David was very kind and easy to work with. This was my first tattoo and he made the experience very comfortable. Booking was super easy I emailed him and got my appointment set up. Additionally he answered any questions I had. I traveled about four hours because I really wanted a piece from him and it was worth it. The shop itself is really beautiful and clean which made the experience even more comforting and memorable. He started by freehand sketching my design based on what I told him I wanted. After he finished he let me check if the design was to my liking and made sure it lined up right. I loved it he understood exactly what I wanted but I felt comfortable to change it if I had wanted to. Next he made sure I was comfortable and got to work with the ink. Took about 3 hours total for the tattoo and I felt comfortable to take any breaks if needed. Once it was done he cleaned me up, took some photos with my consent, bandaged me up and explained how to care for it. Absolutely love my first tat."

"Kali was easy to work with, kind, professional, and patient with my requests. She is a talented detail-oriented artist and was focused on what I wanted with my design. She gave me just what I wanted for my horse, whom I love dearly. Not many people get the horses anatomy right and she did great. They have a beautiful shop and are very clean. I’ll be going back for all my tats! David was also kind and helpful. Really glad I found them."

"I cannot stress enough how wonderful my experience at Blackletter Tattoo has been. Even before coming to the studio, communication with Kali was very easy and incredibly professional. I can feel a little nervous when I'm meeting someone new, but the warmth and friendliness that I was welcomed with at Blackletter Tattoo made my experience so relaxing. I really want to highlight the fact that all members of the studio took time to hang out and talk on multiple occasions when I was getting tattooed. You can tell that Kali, David, and Dusty genuinely want your experience to be as comfortable as possible (despite the needles!) by the beautiful decorations that they have used, the variety of snack options, and their overall hospitality. It is obvious that all artists take so much pride in their work, and have dedicated so much energy and time which reflects on all of their artistic abilities. Kali was such a delight to work with! The small details that Kali provided are so unique and out of this world. Kali is incredibly talented and has absolutely put in the work to make her artwork shine.
