"Overall, I give their care 5-stars. However, please beware of Cheryl, one of the ICU nurses. It is nearly a year since my father died under her care and I am still traumatized by her treatment. She didn't like that I asked to close the blinds to let him sleep. She didn't like that I asked if he could be fed (he hadn't eaten in 3+ days). She didn't like that I asked her to help him while he was choking and she refused to do so! It was difficult enough watching him suffer in horrific pain while passing but her treatment of my precious father is inexcusable, cruel, and unacceptable. If you get Cheryl in ICU, request someone else. My very humble thanks to everyone else who treated us with great care and compassion."

"I brought the kiddo in because he was bitten pretty bad by a pitbull. He was in pain with a bloody hand and leg . We have been here 5 hours and counting we haven’t been seen yet. If you are in pain and need emergency care this is not the hospital to come to. They have got to do better It is not even the weekend. I’m very dissatisfied with the service at Belleville East Memorial Hospital,"

"I think this is one of the best hospitals around. They take there time make sure you are well before they send you home. The care I received from nurses and doctors was a 10 meaning the Best they truly care and check on you even when you don't hit the call button. They are there for you no matter how busy they are. I would go back and recommend this hospital thank you so much"

"Wish I could write a zero star review. If I was literally dying I would rather go anywhere but here. The emergency room was under construction with absolutely no direction on where to go instead. Then the emergency room nurses were absolutely awful. I dont know how they got licensed. The whole experience was an absolute nightmare and I never ever want to go back."

"One of the worst hospitals I’ve been to. Service was terrible. Nurses were VERY rude! I had went in with a terrible fever and chills and headache and dizziness. Only to find out my Heart rate was high. Due to me being stressed. Therefore, these people do whatever they could to get more money from me by giving me so many different uneccesary tests. We then proceeded into the lobby where my wife and I waited almost 4 hours growing insanely impaitent and anxious. I then asked how much longer it would be and the nurse said “I don’t know.” I then got furious and said “well my wife and I have been waiting for almost 4 hours and I just wanted to know about the Covid and flu test results and we wanna leave.” She then said “well you can leave and your results will be on MyChart.” After all this time she could’ve just told me to go on mychart for my test results. Thanks for taking my money you scammers! Don’t let these people run uneccessary tests on you if you just want a Covid test. I recommend going to the Belleville hospital."
