Baymont by Wyndham Galesburg

"In a nutshell, the room was unclean, including the old ranch dressing packets that were open and left in the refrigerator which was turned off (the smell was horrible) and the toilet had a special disgusting surprise left behind when the lid was lifted. The sad part is the bed was made and towels hung, so someone was in there to clean, but with the crumbs, filth and extras it makes you question if the sheets were even changed and the overall sanitation of the facility. The Holiday Inn parking across the way was packed, this place only had a few cars and now I know why."

"We were so pleased with the staff and service at the Baymont Inn in Galesburg. Everyone that worked there was very kind and thoughtful. They helped us get our things into our room and take them out which is such a blessing when you’re handicapped. And met my criteria of being clean and a great staff. We would certainly stay there again."

"We’ve stayed at this Baymont in Galesburg quite a few times. It is our halfway point to our sons’ home in Kentucky. We recently stayed 11-9-23. We always feel at home here which is why we stay. The staff is always so happy. It is not “brand new” like some people prefer, but we are not afraid to stay at an older hotel and this Baymont is kept up very nicely. We have never had to place a complaint in any of our stays. Checkin has always been so efficient and love checkout when they put our receipt under the door and all we do is drop off the keys. Walking in, the place doesn’t even smell like a hotel. Smells fresh! Don’t even smell the chlorine from the pool. Everything looked brighter so thinking they did a facelift not long ago. Even our room looked bright and clean. Overall, our room was very clean, bedding and towels were white, and had more than 2 towels!! Beds were comfy the way we like them. Internet was good that I could stream. Hubby would like to add the shower was great, good pressure, hot water fast, and he loved the great breakfast…egg/sausage muffin and had his favorite cereal. We’ve always had a good stay at this Baymont and sure we will be back again."

"This is where I ALWAYS stay when I visit Galesburg. It's my home away from home. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff is outstanding!! Eric, the manager, Whitney, the assistant manager, and Abby, who works in the afternoon are all PHENOMENAL, as is the whole staff!! Thank you all for the personal service and another incredible visit!! I look forward to seeing you all next time I'm in town, God willing."
