"Great japanese hotpot. Could have sent a waitress around a little more often , but the food made up for it. Long wait if you come during peak times of course. Get the extra prawns for a treat."
"Our party of four visited Shabu Day on a cold Saturday in January after a shopping trip. We planned for shopping first and all-you-can-eat hot pot second because we knew our full bellies afterward would interfere with our clothing experience. XD This was my first time trying hot pot and I can't wait until I get to have it again. The price was reasonable, especially since it's all-you-can-eat. And we did eat all that we could. We ordered the beef broth and the Shabu Day house spicy broth. Both were full of flavor and delicious. It was good to have a non-spicy broth in order to cool off a bit in between bites, though the table electric burners were so effective at heating the broth, there was no cooling down. I'm not sure if this place is new or what, but they really, desperately need vents above each table pulling the steam outside of the building. Each table has a burner, which requires power to the table. There were cords on the floor, posing a potential tripping hazard. The steam was so abundant, condensation gathered on every window. It was hard to cool down inside the restaurant. Each of us was sweating at the table, this was exasperated by the heating element at the table. The experience of hot pot was neat, but could be improved."
"This was first time trying hot pot and it was a really amazing experience. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The spicy broth had such a good flavor and spice without being too overpowering. The price very fair for the amount of food you get plus it's all you can eat. I will definitely be coming back in the future."
"It was a lovely place to visit and enjoy the experience of hot pot! The staff were all very nice and extremely attentive, very helpful by making sure we followed the right steps to make sure we had the best experience possible. I would definitely recommend anyone here as it is reasonably priced for what they do offer there. The cuts of meat were good quality and tasted so good cooked within the spicy broth. If you're looking for something new, and wanting to try out something different while having a nice dinner with friends or family, I would definitely recommend you go here!"
