"Their hours are fake, went there nobody at the 1st street location"
"Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. The name may sound professional, but they are not. Save yourself the stress, money and time. File it yourself."
"I cannot brag enough about how great my experience was with Texas State Notary Bureau. I made 2 separate appointments and Henry was available for both. It was an excellent process and I will definitely use them again for any future needs."
"From our previous review about this company, and the owner’s reply with different perspectives about our review and stated that “Real estate closing done by attorney. Multiple signatures for title signing and you agreed to fee prior to review of all documents” First of all, this company didn’t do any closing or wasn’t our attorney!! We went there for him to NOTARIZE our documents ONLY! We came from Maryland and we didn’t know the price for notarizing in TX until we found out later. From what I researched after coming home, I discovered that “Texas law specifies that notaries can charge no more than $6 for the first acknowledgement, $1 for each additional signature, $6 for oaths and $0.50 per 100 words of a deposition. If you charge customers more than the state-allowed amount, you could lose your notary license and possibly face fines.” The notary didn’t admit that he charged us over price and changed the subject. This is a document for equity line of credit which didn’t require an attorney review as he claimed. We only wanted him to “NOTORIZE” a total of 5 pages. Which legally should not have exceeded $11. Also, he required payment in cash only. Additionally, he didn’t issue a receipt after the transaction. We should have asked for a receipt as proof. We will go to the authorities and report this notary. Even though, we can not get our money back now, we are writing this review to warn other people not to do business with this place. BE WARNED!!!!"
