"Great staff! Very helpful!"
"Really disappointed and angry. My elderly disabled mother has been using this service for over a decade and the same issue occurs constantly. Only one type of vehicle can accommodate her mobility device and on countless occasions she has been stranded or needed to cancel appointments due to the incorrect vehicle being sent. There seems to be an error in scheduling and prioritizing which clients must receive specific accommodations and which ones are able to be flexible. The current situation is my mother is stranded at a location and has been there since before noon. The scheduled return was around 3 pm. It’s currently 7 pm and she is expected to wait for a bus that should be heading to her location at 8 pm. This booking was carried out by Sun Metro LIFT with the knowledge that they were operating with just one vehicle that could accommodate my mother’s mobility device. This is absolutely unacceptable and is negligent. The fact that this is not the first, second, or even third time this has happened is what’s truly disappointing. A service that is intended to offer services for El Paso’s disabled community is falling short. This is one of the few transportation options some residents have, and the practices in place should empower individuals that often feel dependent on others. Sadly, I think situations like this are just reminders for our disabled community members of what they cannot do on their own instead of what they CAN do on their own. I’m angry because I feel like my mother is being treated poorly, and her well-being is being overlooked. I’m frustrated because everyone I have spoken to has been so kind and the drivers are all very friendly, but no one could offer a solution. Kindness is great, but it’s not going to take my mom home."
"The application process is fast and fair. The customer service center (to schedule a ride) is always friendly and professional. The drivers are safe drivers and friendly. $2.50 each way is extremely cheap."
"This service is horrible, you have to call every day to schedule your transportation and you also have to do it before 5pm. You leave work at 5 and you call to schedule your transportation and they always come out with something, orn after been waitingfor 15 minutes they come uot with you're calling after hours, but you can't schedule your transportation for 2 or 3 days either. It's ridiculous!!! apart of all the inconvenencies they always have pick up windows up to 45 minutes and even so they are late. Make sure you make the reservation with many day ahead.."
"Great service but they have been picking up my dad earlier than his scheduled pick up time. 3:54am vs 4:30am is a big difference. This has happened more than three times now. It's not always easy/simple to reschedule his dialysis."
