"Cedar Ridge High School is fantastic. Even though I've attended CRHS for 3 years going on 4, this school is always growing with great students who come to school always knowing what they want to do when the graduate into the big world. Mrs Thomas is a fantastic principal aside from Dr. Presley, she always strives to make sure that CRHS is an excellent place to learn and is a safe school to be in. CRHS has caring teachers who do their best to make sure that the students are passing and also making sure that they teach the subjects that they teach to make it more interesting and interactive. I'm really proud of CRHS in a since that our sports are as competitive as possible to show the Raider spirit. GO CEDAR RIDGE RAIDERS!!"
"Listen, I love my children, but when they become teenagers they aren't sweet little angels anymore, and you need a place to send them. It is great that I have Cedar Ridge High School to take my son from 8-4p Monday through Friday, and all for the low low price of 1.332500% of my homes value. Plus, where else can you feed your kid for like 3$ a day, and I didn't have to watch a Sally Struthers infomercial to get that price. BONUS!! I'm sure he learns stuff while he is there. I hear that Sara broke up with Victor, but they are still going to Prom, so that is cool."
"This school is so awful, as a student I know that I'm not learning at all. The people a nice but teaching is not something they do here. I haven't learned anything these past 4 years (including this year).I've noticed in almost all my classes, students putting their head down on the desk or using their phone and sometimes even sleeping. Why? Because we are "learning" boring outdated useless things! most of the teachers don't know how to teach and be fun. For example my history class, I'll describe my average day in that class first : I arrive. second: I sit down on my desk. third: I take out my notebook and take notes. fourth : I do nothing, that's it. I'm not trying to be funny or a rebel.anyhow. Moving on, the teachers for the most parts are nice but holy crap there's a lot of annoying rude staff members.( I'm looking at you textbook room. )Why can't they be respectful, I will only respect those who are respectful to me, funny thing is if you're disrespectful to the staff ,they get angry (this is the world we live in folks). Now censorship, I feel like i'm living in North Korea, I want to go to YouTube to see a educational video, oh but wait I can't it's blocked, so i go to a different website, oh no surprise it's block too. C'mon people ,we're not kids anymore, I thought this was American land of the free, but all I see is the polar opposite. Censorship shouldn't be a thing haven't we learned anything from the books we read in school like Fahrenheit 451 or 1984. what a bunch of hypocrisy."
"My child has attended Cedar Ridge High School for the past 2 years. The courses are challenging and the teachers are very dedicated and helpful with before school tutorials. The award winning band is very fortunate to have an amazing set of directors, Mark Calima and Ryan Brittain. The theater and choir departments put on fantastic productions and the art department displays remarkable artistic talent. The athletic programs are first rate. And there are many more programs and clubs for the students to participate in, both academic and social. The administration is lead with dignity and integrity by the Principal - Dr. Daniel Presley. And the PTSA is vibrant and involved. You can feel the love, pride and support the students have for each other and their school. Go Raiders !"
