"Please check with the Nursing board to make sure this school has its accreditation . Do the research first. If they aren't licensed there are other private schools that are accredited as well."
"I loved my experience at Aspen University Austin although the program is not for everyone. It requires tons of self-teaching, self-guided learning and discipline to pass, this program is not for the weak. I studied every day for at least 5-6hrs. I passed my NCLEX first try with 75-questions. Big shout out to our NCLEX coach Dr. Haman for meeting with me every month since the beginning of school to help me prepare for the NCLEX and guide my studies. I feel prepared to be an incredible nurse due to my amazing instructors. The professors will go above & beyond to ensure you understand the content and ensure you feel supported. That being said, I am not a fan of new staff management as there is instructors bullying students, time wasted in unhelpful reviews, and gaslighting of students."
"I was told that we taught ourselves. Clinical was over 50 miles away. Faulty curriculum that didn’t coincide with lab. Unfair grading practices. Failure to tell students they were having trouble getting students to pass NCLEX. Sold students false hope thinking we will have the needed support to get the best curriculum. School surrendered teaching licenses because of faulty practices while we as students were left in the dark until they didn’t have any other choice to let us know once it got to the news media. Currently trying to get my money back with the help of the Department of Education."
