"I've been going to a massage school in another city for years. I came here to enjoy a massage while visiting Austin. It was a bit hard to find. With the front waiting area being in the same large room as where you get the massage (separated by curtains), it made for a noisy and disruptive experience. The massage table was not as sturdy as I expected. The actual massage was decent, only covered my back, did not have me flip halfway through. They provide warm towels for relaxation and to wipe away some of the oil which was a nice touch. Cost was $40 for an hour."

"Great massage and for a great price. I gave AMA a shot because I was looking for something more affordable, and I’m so glad I did. Upon arrival I filled out a form to indicate my problem areas and the massage student (Alex T.) really helped work on loosening up some knots that I didn’t even know I had in our 50 minute session. I emailed AMA to see if I could request the same student, but learned he will be graduating soon. Hoping I can catch him again before graduating. If not, I’ll definitely be back!"

"Oh my goodness... my massage with Mindy was absolutely amazing! I’m 9 months pregnant and wanted a prenatal massage for my backaches. She knocked it out of the park on a full body massage! I was so relaxed that I even fell asleep at the end. I was blown away by her professionalism and excellent massage for being a student. Overall experience was great! Nice environment with calming music, privacy curtains, and everyone very professional. I definitely will be back and will be recommending to friends and family. Great value!"

"Great school with great instructors. I liked the small class size that gave lots of one on one time with instructors. Austin Massage Academy is very reasonably priced and they prepared me to pass the MEBLEX on my first try! The private clinic room is relaxing and was great for our clients. All the instructors were focused on helping us learn to become top rate massage therapists. Highly recommend for anyone interested in learning massage."
