The instructors truly embody what they teach and truly care about the students. Logistically the make up policy for missed classes is the best I have experienced-you simply schedule make ups based on your availability-no limits to the number of make ups and no additional fees. "Love this for my 7 year old! He has been attending for most of the year and Sensei Jonathon is SO GREAT with the kids, especially understanding dealing with kids with neurodiversity and having patience. Of course he still instills in them some principles of martial arts, and sometimes makes them take a break, etc., but it is really nice to have a place I know I can send my son and feel safe with the outcome with such a caring teacher. Unfortunately we did not get this experience in public school so when he was struggling with school it was great to at least have an after-school activity where he feels like he belongs. If you're looking for some intro martial arts and wasted money on trying taekwondo and others (like we did), Life Ki-do is a great introduction and experience for kids!! Highly recommend giving it a shot, you won't be disappointed~"
