Opportunities is a school located at 396 Municipal Drive, Leander, Texas, United States. Our Head Start program operates out of 12 Early Head Start and Head Start locations across our two-county area, providing outstanding educational opportunities for children and encouraging self-sufficiency in families. We partner with organizations to improve access to services and maximize opportunities for low-income individuals.

Our highly trained teachers use a research-based curriculum to create a stimulating educational environment that prepares children for success in kindergarten and beyond. We provide nutrition, dental, health, vision, hearing, emotional wellness, and educational screenings for all enrolled children, with appropriate follow-up and treatment when necessary.

We are actively enrolling students ages 0-5 in Head Start, with the program running from August to late June or early July. Applications can be completed via paper application and returned to any of our centers or main office. We also operate the Child & Adult Care Food Program, providing meals to all enrolled participants at no separate charge.

The OWBC Head Start and Early Head Start programs prepare children from birth to five years of age to become successful school students and productive members of society. Our Head Start Policy Council, comprised of parents, community representatives, and board members, meets monthly to provide guidance and direction for the program.
