"I'm sorry to have read the other reviews of this place, but I've had only good experiences here. Anytime I drive North to visit a couple family members, I stop at this Shell station on Deerpath. I was so impressed by this place and the service, it's worthy of a review! I've been coming here now for almost a year. It's very clean, not dirty and dark like most gas stations. You are greeted by the manager and the other employee every time. I even know his name that's how often I come here. They have a huge selection of quest protein bars (which I love), and they are a little less expensive than most places that sell them! They even have cigar humidor too, which is pretty cool. I've bought a few cigars for my uncle to bring as a last minute gift. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in the station. If I lived in Lake Forest, I'd be a loyal customer of theirs forever."

"The staff here are mostly good but the lady specifically is stuck up and not very friendly. I've been purchasing tobacco products from her for over 2 years several times a month. She 100% recognizes me yet insists on seeing my ID EVERY time. I've also seen her turn down a guy with a birth certificate and several forms of photo ID.... He had a full beard and looked 25 if not 30. The last straw was the other night when the station was close to closing. It was 9 minutes from closing and she refused to let me in to purchase items. Apparently, they close 10 minites before whats posted on the sign. This I figured out the next day. Thats fine and all but then at least put it on the *#*#*$&$ SIGN!!! From now on I get everything at the BP thats down the street."
