"Bathrooms need only a couple things. 1. Toilets 2. Stalls 3. Sinks 4. Soap 5. Paper towels. Now this isn't a long or hard list to live up to, yet this school has somehow managed to only have barely one of these. A toilet... The stalls are broken. There isn't any soap in 90% of the bathrooms, and half of the sinks don't work or are broken. Half of the bathrooms don't have a towel dispenser, and even if they do, most of the time it's broken, empty or just useless. Now i'm glad to say i'm spending more time in class, because i don't want to even walk inside one of those god forsaken bathrooms. Now I get that boys are stupid and break things all the time, but its no excuse to NOT PUT UP THE NECESSITIES OF A CLEAN BATHROOM. If the school gets a breakout of Ebola or something because we cant wash our hands properly than whos fault is that huh? Well whatever, i'm only here for one more year. But hey, at least we have a good football team... oh wait."
"Definitely some favoritism going on on their volleyball team as well as who is on varsity vs jv vs freshman in track and field. There are students who don't get in trouble and work hard and that is not recognized by the coaches. Instead they are choosing students who sweet talk the coaches..."
"Teachers have some hard core favoritism going on. If you're non-AP/IB and your teacher has one of those classes, prepare to be tossed to the side. If you're an exceptional student, it's not too bad. All of my teachers treated me very well, just not my friends. This school handled bullying awfully and suicide attempts were so common that I met a fellow student at a psychiatric hospital downtown. He was released on the day I went in. The AP's were very discriminatory, especially towards the LGBT+ community. They also called me in for "issues to my safety" that were absolutely not a threat and yet turned a blind eye to any real issues me or my friends experienced. One thing I can say is that the new choir director is absolutely wonderful. I only wish I'd had more than one semester with him. He's very passionate in his work and highly understanding. The few good teachers there are the only reason I'm giving this school more than one star. Everything else about this place was horrendous."
"my little brother got stabbed here a few weeks ago by some Mexican gang kids who wanted his wallet and backpack. he's in the 9th grade and is very quiet. it's been several weeks, and the police in charge of the case haven't let my family know anything, even though my parents said they wanted to press charges. Mrs Meyers, my brothers assistant principles was very unhelpful. and we don't know if the boy who stabbed my brother is returning to the school. -4 stars if you ask me."
"First of all, you can never find your room numbers. the school has an extremely confusing organizational system. the lunch room is very small, and the AC doesn't work that well. however it still offers many classes and its ok."
