Reviews of Kingwood Park High School
"Great place! The staff is exceptional, they work hard to keep everything running smoothly, if you're new to the area, send your students to KPHS, they'll love it."
"kpark is a great school with great staff lots of activities and clubs the school itself is not bias towards anyone it the students themselves who bring in the social and political bias. there is however an overuse of drugs within the school community even if its not at the school its had an effect the students we claim we're the best. we WERE the best. I don't know how other schools work but I know that in kpark the only way for the students to trulls enjoy park is to enjoy the high school experience on a straight path. its sad how many students drop out cause of their own conflict with other students. but we are kpark we can make the difference and it starts with you"
"As a senior here at KPark, I'm grateful I go to this school. The students and teachers are overall friendly and I'm always impressed with the opportunities offered. The sports are well-acclaimed, the students in fine arts are talented, and the STEM classes have wonderful teachers who want the students to succeed. The school also offers as a variety of certification classes (such as for AutoCAD) and teaches other skills outside of the basic core classes. The school is continuing to get better through renovations and new classes. Sure, the classes are difficult but it helps the students be prepared for college and challenges us to do better. School is for opportunity and education, and Kpark offers both."
"How to describe Kingwood Park High School. If you are good at sports with enough money to donate to the school then i'd say go here. But other then that DO NOT. I mean reading the reviews and seeing that there are a few random users here makes me think that they had to have a teacher bump up the star count so that it wasn't at zero. But that wold make sense right? No sensible principal would want a bad review on their busine- I mean School. But in making a slightly slanderous joke i will retort to say it's not all bad. Like there are some really cool teachers! And some cool students (Such as myself.). But on the other hand people are condescending and wont even bat an eye unless you play a sport and play it well. Or be really attractive or do something incredible. Oh but wait and hold on, because it gets worse. See i cannot put negative stars on the review but if i could i'd rate -5 because i am not athletic and im also not AP smart. So i'm the student that really none of the teachers really know or care that i exist. Although im funny so thats the only way peope know me. So the education. This is the WORST part. It's public as Joshlyn said so its all based on STAAR. Which is treated like it will end your life. Because it will. Now for a final not i'll say that im only writing this as a warning. If you try and be YOU. Prepare for bullying! We go against it but honestly everyone does it. Even me sometimes, but i have the decency to do it to their faces. And jokeingly of co8urse because im nice to most people. So actually before i end it i should say a few more things. I dont really like football players and jocks but their not all bad. Although most think their above the whole world. But this is my opinion. And i know that it might not matter but if your thinking about Kpark make sure you do your research because high school is pretty important for a kid. And this one isnt what i had hoped for. --- Signed ZAC MARKS (I only signed it because i currently have no fear if they try and get me for insubordination.)"
"I agree with Joshlyn. Also if you are going to this high school, make sure and have your parents or some relatives working for a district, then everything will go well... Another way to succeed is to make generous donations. All "friends" and "relatives" came to school, even if there was not any room for it, some classes are almost 40 students. If you are not one of these people you will feel exactly like Joshlyn..."
