""Old school" instructor setting students up for failure. Doesn't care about what's best for the students, only cares what makes her job easier. Very unfair and inconsiderate when it comes to students. She's been here for years so I assume my complaints won't be acknowledged, I'm sure I am not the first person to complain about her. Fortis need to do better and hire people who care about their students and aren't using their position unethically. She has made me very discouraged, and I am considering dropping out and finding another school. I haven't had any other problems with any other instructors other than her. My whole class complains amongst ourselves but no one wants to complain to the school. But I do not care, I took a loan out and I'm not getting the education I'm paying for. She doesn’t follow the lesson plans that are in our modules, so we are unprepared for assignments. I think I’m going to have to drop out and go to another school because this woman is on a power trip."

"I am in the Medical Assistant program and have enjoyed my time at Fortis Institute - North. It was not the area of subject I wanted but it did assist me in learning more things about the health care field. The teachers and advocates through out the school were excellent. I do feel we could have had more lab work to understand some of the subjects but over all it was a good experience. I would recommend the program to others."

The staff are all so helpful the teachers really go out of their way to make sure you actually understand what you are learning. There is a lot of hands on training that goes on. They took the time to share their knowledge from all their degrees which gave us a little more insight on more procedures and better understanding of how and why they are being done. The staff is also always so willing to help with any questions or problems you might have."
