"This place is anything but a TEAM. My son was in their care for only a month before I moved him. They do not communicate with the parent, they make unilateral decisions without the authority, refuse requests for meetings, and have an overall "savior" mentality which dismisses the history and needs of the client and they believe they know it all. From the onset of him moving in they acted as if he had no parent and they became his full decision maker. Their staff forgot to administer medications numerous times and also administered the same medication twice in one day. They charge well over any provider does in the area especially if your child receives SSI including $40 monthly haircuts with an open ended agreement which you must sign stating that they can charge you for any fees related to the home. They state their staff is trained to do appropriate holds to keep the client safe. My son broke a window and picked up a small piece of glass shroud and was stabbing himself and noone intervened. My son was transported to the hospital and they never phoned me. I received a call from the ER physician. Many incidents of emotional outburst occured where the caregiver phoned the police since they are untrained to handle as they should which resulted in numerous hospitalizations that were not needed. They don't answer phones and are cryptic in texts. I strongly caution you from this business."

"My son was in Team Abilities care and was paid for upfront $1200. We had to pull my son out because he refused to return to school and I am still fighting them after 2 months for a refund of $675. It looks like it's going to take a lawyer to get their attention. The staff has been less than forthcoming with information about why it's taking so long. They never answer their phones. I have asked numerous times to speak with who's in charge of the refunds and have been refunded that number."
