Hoops-School

Hoops-School is a premier youth basketball training institution located at 11610 Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to reach, teach, coach, and change the lives of boys and girls aged 6 to 15 years old. Led by Coach Heidi, who brings over 30 years of experience as a coach and player, Hoops-School inspires kids to reach their full potential both on and off the court. Kids have a blast while learning the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment.

Coach Heidi, currently the President and Head Coach of Hoops-School, is a former professional basketball player for the LA Sparks and Washington Mystics in the WNBA, as well as overseas. She is also a Guinness World Record holder for being one half of the tallest female identical twins in the world. In addition to her basketball accomplishments, Coach Heidi is a multilingual speaker and a motivational and educational speaker.

In addition to her work at Hoops-School, Coach Heidi founded a non-profit organization called Heidi’s Hoops for Hope, which provided free basketball camps for inner city and less fortunate schools. Her dedication to building strong basketball skills and good character in kids is evident in everything she does.
