Reviews
"He showed up on time, on the day of the appointment. I spent most of my time trying to keep the kids out of the room and away from him, so he could concentrate on the Piano. He spent about two hours here, was very quiet, courteous and professional. I believe his prices are very reasonable for the services rendered."
"I've been playing guitar for a while but had some huge fundamental holes in my playing (mostly theory/fundamentals) I had other teachers before who were good guitar players but some of the time looked like they would rather be somewhere else (playing not teaching). After reading Andrews Reviews he seemed like someone who had a passion for teaching not just playing. This turned out to be exactly right. He always gives you 100% of his effort to ensure you get better and has an amazing knowledge of fundamentals. I wish I had a teacher like this when I first learned guitar. I am twice the guitar player I was 6 months ago when I started. Highly recommend"
"The instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly. I've been taking voice lessons for about 6 months now, and I can feel the improvement. My loved ones also say that they can hear a difference! I also like the extra events that they put on, like open mic nights, park socials, and workshops! Such a wonderful experience!"
"But it's not just that you're a great teacher. It's how you always have a smile for your students when they show up for class. It's how you never fail to ask "How is the guitar treating you?" every week. It's how you are always patient with everyone and always so positive and supportive. It's how you always say "good job" even when it's not so good - I live for those good job's, it's the highpoint of my day and probably the nicest thing anybody will say to me all week. It's how you show us every week how much there is to learn - but that it's okay not to know everything, or be able to do everything. It's how you're one of the few people we can totally mess up in front of and that's totally okay too. It's how no matter how super busy you are, you always make us feel like you are really vested in our success and our progress. You are always present, and engaged, and interested, and excited in everything that we do and everything we're able to accomplish. You really do want us to learn and get better. It's how you never let us get frustrated with ourselves or quit on ourselves. These may seem like little things to you that you don't even think twice about, but they're huge and meaningful to the students on the receiving end."
"I had a fantastic experience at this place. I recently went down to the Guitar Center to buy a new guitar and the employee that helped me, John, was very friendly and helpful. John was super amazing in helping me find the right guitar as well as helping me find the perfect case for it. He even tuned the guitar as I was checking out. Could not be happier about the experience and the great employees like John that work there."
