"The walking paths are in Excellent shape. Good workout up-and-down hills through Scenic woods and endless tall prairie grass. Quiet and extremely beautiful."
"We got married here! Raul was fantastic to work with! We had our ceremony in the Wilson Shelter, our cocktail hour on the deck of the Jarrett Prairie Center and our reception downstairs in the Jarrett Prairie Center- All on the forest preserve property. The outdoor space cannot be beat and the indoor event space was just remodeled and is beautiful. The entire space was clean and they have a kitchen, multiple bar set ups, and nice restrooms. They set up our outdoor chairs and tables. It was beautiful and affordable. Would highly recommend! Our guests enjoyed the museum during cocktail hour and the observatory was an added bonus during the reception time."
"We went here for the 31st annual Holiday Craft Show, and it was wonderful! Lots to shop for on 2 floors, food, drinks, and even beer for this craft show! And it was free to get in!! Looks like the nature center has lots of great activities year round, and it's a very nice building with many displays for the kids!!"
"We walked around the paved trail then around four hills trail. This is a great place to see birds, dragon flies and lots of native prairie plants. We did not go inside today but we do know the bathrooms are awesome. There is also a section that has stuffed native animals you can walk around and look at. There is a playground near the building also."
