Reviews of Goodwill Store & Donation Center
"This goodwill used to be awesome. Now it's full of zombies 24/7 arriving at open Maybe stop overfilling the stuffed animal bin also or find another solution. I don't shop here anymore because it's always, always unpleasant, disorganized and crowded."
"Found a few LED lamps and backpack. When I got home I opened the backpack and found a kindle tablet. Goes to show, you never know what you can get there."
"Good selection of different things like shoes tech cloths here. Employees are nice and if your on a budget, collector or just someone that wants something for cheap. Here is a good place to go"
"The only thing that keeps it from being 1 Star is the Asst Mgr made this right. Found an item, thought it was a great deal, got to register as cashier got snippy and rude and told me that just because there are two price tags doesn't mean anything., It was not my responsibility to make sure what was the real price, and they should honor the lower price, (by the way it was marked 2.99 on side of box but the lid was crushed inside box and a 6.99 tag hidden inside). I asked for a manager, AND GOT A SUPERVISOR, as Jean the cashier implied I was trying to hide the price TO HER but I did not hide anything as box was open, as the supervisor came up and said sorry, we don't have to honor mistakes with the tags, only a shelf price. I then asked for a manager ,AGAIN. I did not get her name but she honored the lower price abs asked if we were ready to check out, I said yes but Cashier Jean in her rudeness packed all our stuff into a box and put it all back on the floor. The manager walked around with us to try and find the items but we still couldn't find two things my daughter had her heart set on. In end, the supervisor that the Asst Manager was talking with on the floor took us up to check out abs was so much nicer and appreciative, unlike Jean who thought she was the be all- end all of Goodwill. The only reason I wrote this review is that Jean was not what I expected from a Goodwill employee, as she was snippy, rude, and condescending when we were trying to get this resolved abs she was in such a hurry to make sure to make our items disappeared while we tried to resolve the matter with a manager. Worst part was the initial supervisor was standing there when Jean was talking smack to me about we "were wrong and a manager would set us straight". I asked what she said in front of the supervisor, and told the Supervisor if that's the typical attitude of customer service that was unacceptable. The supervisor rolled her shoulders and walked away. I understand the labor pool is shallow, but when companies hire employees like these you don't have to look very far when trying to figure out why people are not walking in your doors after an experience like we had today. Goodwill, I will reconsider where we make donations in the future because of people like your cashier in the front. Without donations, you run out of stuff to sell, and then your forced to find out why... but I hope to save you to time looking."
"This Goodwill is laid out similar to the others. We love to check out other town's goodies. Open and airy feel and naturally sunlit. Medium size store, they pack a lot of products in a small space. Meaning the aisles are quite narrow. I got some great finds, like this BBQers apron and this awesome monkey! Clean bathrooms."
