"Our children are thriving at Westlake! Their days begin with religion class each day, and we cherish the Bible stories they come home and share with us and how it relates to our every day life of how to cope when they may feel worried and how to treat others around them. The current staff in the lower school have been comprised of the same teachers for the past three years (and many of them beyond that), so they have completed great trainings and enhancements together. We especially love the portfolios the students make to share their work throughout, the Science of Reading approaches being utilized, and the two hours of math and reading the lower school students have each day! It is amazing to see the immense amount of instruction being received in those key areas. We greatly appreciate that our children adore their teachers and are known and cared for by the staff as a whole - it really is one, big family, and every teacher knows our children's names and greets our family daily."

"Westlake prep is a weak example of private school. At best, Westlake is on par with the local public schools with small classes. Before committing to this dumpster fire, do your research and ask ALL the questions. Ask to see the Code of Conduct. They don’t have one and therefore expectations of behavior are arbitrarily enforced or dismissed creating confusion and convenience for them to operate to only retain and acquire more tuition money. There is a lot of reference and word salad to keep with the expectations that meet Westlake community, but since those expectations are not defined you will experience manipulation and gaslighting for holding school leadership responsible for managing a healthy learning environment for students. Thumbs down… do not recommend."

"Before committing to Westlake, 3 yrs ago, we toured several schools. As soon as we walked into Westlake, I felt a calm come over me, Kind of like “OMG, is this the one??” Westlake has been nothing but amazing to our family. From the small class sizes to the one on one time needed in certain areas for our kiddos. My oldest, especially, has grown so much confidence that he didn’t have before. Both boys have grown academically, socially, and spiritually! The entire staff is top of the line! I feel like we are part of a sweet little family there. The teachers love the kiddos like they are their own and even the kiddos love each other. They pray for a classmate if he’s absent, not even knowing the situation. How can you not love that? I honestly can’t imagine being anywhere else. We just need a HIGH SCHOOl! * I just read a review that said Westlake doesn’t have a Code of Conduct. When we signed up and signed all the papers, we were given that, plus online it was sent to us through Westlake & Leah if I’m not mistaken."

"Westlake is a gem. The teachers and staff really care about the students and take time with them when they need help. The atmosphere is positive and loving. A couple of perks that I have appreciated are the very small class sizes and the ability for my son to play on the basketball team without having to compete with hundreds of kids for a spot. I am impressed with the direction in which the school is headed, meaning they are working on IB accreditation and planning for a high school soon. Westlake truly lives up to their christian values and it shows. Thank you, Westlake, for all you do for us!"
