"Miss Karlin has always been my children's favorite bus driver, she is the nicest bus driver I have ever met, she is friendly and the safety of the children comes first. Today, 12/12/2023, unfortunately, it was a substitute driver ( I don't know her name)who came to drop off the children after school, this lady is unbearable and very unpleasant, she came parked right next to the rain garden without even thinking that this big hole could be a danger for children, my neighbor tried to draw her attention to this fact, but she looked indifferent, my son got out of the bus and she was trying to start the bus to leave, it's where I ask her where my daughter was, she tells me that she is not on the bus, I ask how come she is not there? I ask my son to go check, that's when she takes the microphone and starts yelling my daughter's name before she walks out. She doesn't know how to talk to people, she behaves as if she is forced to do the job. I prefer Miss Karlin a thousand times, she is very sweet and friendly"
"I do not agree with the pickup areas they have set for this year. Or neighborhood has several crossroads that the bus stops at. So all kids have designated pickup areas. I was never told where ours was. The first time the bus just passed my kids up at our house instead of picking them up and telling them they need to go to the pickup area. After finding out where it was I'm even madder. It's a block away. Every stop he makes is a block. However where my house is located there is no cross roads it's a two block stretch. We are right in the middle. Not only do my kids have to walk the block in the dark as we have no street lights, it's now raining and they have to walk in the rain and dark. I have 2 other small kids that are still sleeping and I need to get ready. Time is crucial. High school bus stop right here why can't the middle school. I'm not sure why they started doing this but it's not right."
"After 9 years that I have lived on the same road and my children going to Waller district & getting picked up in front of their house bc our houses aren’t 5ft apart like other houses our houses here on plaza 290 are acreage away meaning more like 1000 ft apart. Transportation this year is ridiculous they are having only 4 stops in our neighborhood and having our kids walk different ways not having our kids safety in mind first. They can get picked up on the side of the road by a stranger and never seen of again. Waller Transportation do better, I have little ones that I have to get ready in the morning and out the door as well, get breakfast done and get ready for work. Seriously I’m pissed so pissed I have to write a review. Transportation is just getting lazier and lazier every year. SMH."
"Best place for work as a bus driver. People is very kind and very polite"
"The transportation department could use a little more leway when it comes to elementary students. It's not as easy as some might think to get their Littles out the door on time. Also Mr supervisor who cant even budge on one minute wait time because it would make you so late. Look into other districts that have mandatory wait times of 2 min. Also being a little more understanding towards the parents wouldn't hurt either. Then maybe they won't use choice words. My incident isn't the first that has happened either when talking with this office. My friends sone got punched in the face and the lady told her it was above her pay grade she couldn't do anything. But this is our first incident in 3 years but with our bus #31 having a sub for so long and the time changing by 10 mind and no wait times maybe just maybe they should send a letter to the parents of what the exact time is to be out there because this guessing game is not working out. Oh and how about not humiliating the parents to the point to wear they explode. Just a few thoughts."
