Holiday Inn Chicago North - Gurnee, an IHG Hotel

"Only complaint would be the $15 breakfast. Go somewhere else for a $15 breakfast would be my advice. Not really worth $15. Other than that, very nice place to stay. Close to the mall."

"I stay in over 100 motels every year! I know problems happen! This Hotel is so far out dated I felt like I was back in the 80’s. Had to pay $6.00 for two bottles of water, had to pay for my coffee. Not one single USB Port in the room! The couch arm fell off! Heater would switch to A/C in the middle of the night, they swapped out the unit same thing happened the next night! Dirty linen out in the hall way for two days! I will never stay here again! This hotel is an embarrassment to the Holiday Inn name!!!"

"The room has no amenities like microwave or refrigerator. The fan on the heater didn't work well at all. They told me when I checked in they had free breakfast and bar. But it was closed hasn't been open in awhile. Then when I came down for breakfast they wanted to charge me $14.95 +tax for nothing better then what you get for free anywhere else. I would never stay here again. Location is the only thing good."

"We had a short stay there to go to Six flags this last weekend. My son left his laptop there and we did not realize until Tuesday. I called and spoke to Danielle. She not only found his laptop but helped out in getting it back to us. Danielle was very friendly on the phone and the fact she made makeshift packing to keep his laptop safe was top notch. We need more people like her. Danielle, if you read this, THANK YOU!"
