"I find it extremely inappropriate to tell a person, in front of their child, that they don't care about their child because they requested records. Was told that "we care more about using it in court than helping the child" even though we never said the records were going to be used for court purposes, and they won't be. I'm tired of my co-parent lying and hiding things about the kids and doctors helping this by lying and hiding things from me too. I requested records because that's been the only way I get to know anything about my kids outside my care, and it has been that way for years. A conversation before accusations would have been greatly appreciated, but that seems to be too much to ask."

"As a licensed professional therapist myself, I sought out Dr Nikki Russel to train me in play-therapy for my own doctoral program. I have found her to be of the highest integrity and above reproach in her ethical responsibilities with clients and parents. While working with children, it is common to be involved in court issues related to divorce and custody battles, CPS investigations, and other legal issues. I have seen her handle these difficulties with dignity and grace-- even when parents, guardians, or the other parent does not like the results of the therapy with the children. Dr Russel has an obligation to the child's safety, welfare, and mental well being. I have seen her navigate difficult situations. I have seen her willingness to work with both parents when parents are at odds with each other-- or even outright hostile towards each other.
