"This review is for Chicago Title, 116 N East St, Uvalde, TX 78801. We had a closing scheduled for 11:30 am on Tuesday Feb. 28, 2023 for the sale of our home. We arrived 15 min early. At about 11:45 we were told the party before us had arrived late. At about 12:15 the other party exited the conference room and were laughing and hugging Chicago Title employees. Looked like a family reunion breaking up. We finished signing our papers about 12:30. Our closer told us he was immediately going to email/fax paperwork and that we could expect to see the proceeds from the sale in our bank account in 2 hours. Did not happen as he said. Wednesday morning we still did not have our money. After contacting Chicago Title we learned that they did not wire our funds until Wednesday March 1. I guess that is there way of earning interest on our money"

"Working with this Co was the most awful experience I've ever had. They are not reasonable to work with, they are extremely outdated and almost sabotaged the sale of our property which took them months to finally close. We caught the pres. Of this co in 2 outright lies. I promised I would let everyone know about the horrible experience I had with this co. I encourage everyone to stay away from Chicago Title."
