"THEY TALK TO KIDS RECKLESS ESPECIALLY MINORITIES ! THEY DONT COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY REGARDING YOUR CHILDS EDUCATION OR EVEN CONDUCT FOR THAT MATTER! THEY LIE AND WATER DOWN SITUATIONS! THEY HAVE NO ISSUE PLACING THEIR HANDS ON KIDS AND NOT CALLING OR WRITING IT UP UNTIL YOU REQUEST IT BE DONE!! THEY ALLOW THINGS TO HAPPEN ON CAMPUS AND WILL NOT MAKE PARENTS AWARE OR WILL WAIT UNTIL THE VERY LAST MINUTE TO DO SO! THEY ALLOW STRANGERS ON CAMPUS WITHOUT CHECKING ID YET GAVE THEM VISITORS PASSES AND ACCESS TO USE THE SAME RESTROOM OUR CHILDREN USE ! THEY STUDENT TO TEACHER RATION IS LIKE 25:1 AND TEACHERS CLEARLY ARE INCAPABLE OF CONTROLLING THERE CLASSROOMS!!! THIS PLACE IS RAN LIKE A DAYCARE! THIS SCHOOL IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST SCHOOL I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! MY BIGGEST REGRET IN LIFE IS TRANSFERRING MY SON TO LIFE SCHOOL REF OAK! THEY ARE NOT TEACHING OUR KIDS LEADERSHIP SKILLS AS THE LEADERS SUCH AS JOY THE PRINCIPAL AND DANIELLE THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL LACKS THESE QUALITIES ! DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND RUN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF LIFE SCHOOL ESPECIALLY RED OAK CAMPUS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD EVEN A LITTLE BIT!"

"The school is inconsistent. Their tardy policy is horrible and unfair to the kids. We were told that school starts at 7:50am, but yet they are actually tardy at 7:50 am. They will not give a consistent grace period and that is fair and that can accommodate parents who have to drop of more than one child to different schools. When there are lines of traffic backed up to the highway and up the road and children arrive to school at 7:55am they should not be made to wait in long lines to get a tardy slip which has them missing their school time. If there are two lines of kids backed up from the school office to the front door waiting in line for tardy slips that says something about their unfair policy and it needs to be addressed and corrected. They have good academics but could be better and stronger. I do not like the fact that they do not offer a second language and when asked about it they only acknowledged that they did not offer it and did not seem to care about implementing it into the curriculum."

"This school has changed so much! Alot of the teachers and new staff have attitudes with the kids and parents. Parents of potential future students beware. The public schools in midlothian, waxahachie and red oak are exceptional and offer much more for the students throughout high school. I wish i would have known that ahead of time:("

"Rude staff, ( mrs. Perkins ) who is a teachers aide in kindergarden will scream and yell at parents. Their is no communication, school is under construction so it is not secure for the children and you now have to wait in the 2 mile single car lane to pick up your child because the teachers are to lazy to deal with parents who can not sit in line for 2 hrs... I would give 0 stars if that were an option. Very poor school choice, the public school is better!"

"My only options were "poor-fair" or "Good". My actual rating is "average". The education is good at LSRO - about equal to the private school education my daughter received last year. However their communication with parents is HORRIBLE, especially if you live a distance away. They posted no inclement weather information anywhere when it snowed, and they have no Facebook page to update such things (and other events). And the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is virtually nonexistent... save your $5 at the beginning of the year and have a dessert somewhere instead. The PTO sends out no updates, no e-mails, no mailings, and does no phone calls to parents. They also have NO meetings - at least none that are publicized. And getting connected with other parents to form things like carpools? Forget it! The PTO won't help, and they are your only connection to other parents. Unless you are in the little "loop" of parents intimately connected with the school, you will have a hard time finding out information unless you constantly ask the secretary. Overall, if I had to give it a "star" rating, I'd give it 3 stars... about average. The educational level (at least a 4-star level) is offset by the fact it is difficult to find out anything and be involved in your child's education (communication: 2-star level or slightly lower). At least everyone there has been nice. That's a plus!"
