"I had the opportunity to work with this school shortly as a substitute and whew! It seems that most if not all the Harmony schools are short staffed. Which directly affects the students so I can’t blame them too much for their behavior. They don’t have consistent teachers. They request subs with no lesson plans in the classroom and 0 support. So here you are with about 20 kids and have to figure out where they are in the curriculum, develop something quickly for them to work on and hope for the best. I have been hit physically and cursed out by the students & heard them use TERRIBLE racist language to each other. But I’ve also heard other teachers talk BADLY about the kids; it’s rough. The fact that these kids go through so many teachers in a year is insane to me."

"My children have been at this school for 1 year and a 1/2 and they’ve always been in the Harmony schools. The staff is great, the teachers are wonderful. A big shout out to Mrs. Davis (5th grade science/math) and Ms. Campbell (5th grade reading/social studies) who have been in touch with all the parents making sure the students are keeping up with assignments, specially during this difficult school year (2020-2021), also during the strong snow storm back in February.
